Homework: Take a walk and write a poem!

Step 1: Go on a walk! Walk around the neighborhood (ask an adult to join you) or just in your back or front yard.
Step 2: Use your senses: Sight, smell, touch, sound. Describe something you notice with each of your senses.
Step 3: Write a poem! Poem rules:
-Must be about your experience outdoors
-10 lines long or more
-Use figurative language
-It does NOT have to rhyme, but it can!
Step 4: Email it to me or send it through Dojo.

If you give me permission, I'll post your poem on the blog for other students to see. Have fun!
