Some of our poems!

I feel the soft wet grass on my
bare feet, I feel the chilly wind on
my face.I taste the soft chewing
gum in my mouth,Chew! Chew!
I taste the gross green leaf on my
tongue. EW! EW!  I smell the bus gasoline
as it passed, I smell the billion honeysuckles
MMM! So sweet! I hear the lawn mower cutting
the grass, I hear what sounds like 2 trillion birds
all singing songs like superstars. It's amazing what
you can do with just 5 senses, taste, feel, hear
see, and hearing that's what make the
5 senses amazing

I went on a walk on a wildflower trail.
I saw a squirrel with a bushy tail.
I felt a windy breeze in my hair.
I am glad I didn't see a bear.
I smelled lots of flowers.
There were no rain showers.
It was a sunny day
and it's almost May.
I put my toes in the cold creek.
It was deep.
There were birds peeping and cars in the background.
I like the different sounds.
I like nature.

Thank you God for such a beautiful day.
Seems like everythings going my way.
The sky a beautiful shade of light blue.
White billowing clouds floating by waving hi to you.
The birds fly high in the sky chirping, singing praises to you.
Oh mighty Jehova.
Fresh cut grass fills my nostrils.
Lawn motor roaring to life awakening me from deep morning sleep.
Lazily I rise wiping sleep from my eyes.
What a surprise.
Thank you God for today.

I hear beep beep
it's a horn,
I hear a siren
weee ooo wee ooo
it's a cop,
I feel hot its the warm sun,
I feel a breeze
it's the trees swaying in the sky,
I smell something sweet
its the neighbors cooking,
Achuuuu
I heard me sneeze
it's the pollen outside.

Class Meeting on Wednesday at 4pm

Hey there, Lewis Lions!

We will be using Google Hangouts to have another video chat on Wednesday at 4:00pm. It's like Zoom, but hopefully easier.

I sent an invitation to everyone's email account. All you have to do is click the link on the invite, right under where it says "join with google meet." I'll also send the link to Dojo.

Tomorrow I'll be posting a science experiment. All you'll need is a few pieces of bread, zip lock bags, and a marker.

I'm waiting for a few more poems, and hopefully I'll be able to share them on here soon. Have a great week!
